Alongside everyday home care, Hatszz Prestige Care can support clients with more specialist care needs. Our trained and experienced care staff work to agreed care plans, with a focus on dignity, safety, infection control, comfort and continuity of support.
Specialist support is provided subject to individual assessment, care planning, staff competency, and regulatory requirements.
Support with PEG feeding routines, including safe positioning, flushing, tube rotation where appropriate, observation, documentation and infection-control procedures, in line with the client's care plan.
Support with stoma care, including emptying, changing, monitoring output, identifying concerns such as irritation or blockage, and maintaining infection-control standards.
Support with suctioning and assisted coughing where included in the care plan and delivered by trained staff, helping clients maintain comfort and respiratory wellbeing.
Support with catheter care, including bag changes, hygiene, infection-control procedures, monitoring for signs of blockage or concern, and knowing when to escalate for clinical intervention.
Support with agreed bowel-care routines, monitoring, documentation, comfort measures and escalation where concerns arise, delivered only where staff are trained and competent.
Support with tracheostomy care tasks such as cleaning, dressing support, monitoring the stoma site and maintaining infection-control procedures, where included in the care plan and within staff competency.
Support with medication management using safe administration principles, including the 7 Rights of medication: right person, right medicine, right dose, right time, right route, right reason and right documentation. Support may include requesting, collecting, prompting or administering medication through agreed routes where appropriate and authorised in the care plan.
Care staff follow infection-control procedures, document care delivered, monitor changes and escalate concerns appropriately to families, professionals or emergency support where required.
Specialist care is provided following assessment and care planning, and only by staff with the appropriate training and competency for the agreed tasks.
